Nadur council held a Christmas market under a marquee at St Peter and St Paul Square on December 4, 5 and 6.

Stalls selling various items, including wooden toys, Christmas decorations,poinsettias, books, jewellery and wood sculptures, were set up. Chocolates, doughnuts, mulled wine and other food items were also available.

Father Christmas, accompanied by the Nadur band, was met with great enthusiasm by a large crowd, including several children who were entertained to face-painting sessions, the bounceyg castle and go karts.

Other entertainment was provided by Curtain Raiser, Annette Mystic Dancers, The X Tend, Alessia, David Azzopardi, St Monica Choir and Gozo Boy and Keith Buttigieg.

A war shelter decorated for the occasion by James Azzopardi was open to the public.
