The events are being organised by the local council in collaboration with the Parliament Secretary for Public Information and Consultation and the Malta Tourism Authority between December 10 and 12.

The activity will be focused in Maqluba Square on Friday and Saturday evening, where the aim is that the traditional, spiritual, commercial and artistic aspects come all together and become one.

On Friday there is going to be a grand finale by the rapper Hooligan while on Saturday the renowned group Bronk will close the evening in style. On Friday evening, primary school children will be going round the streets of the village, singing Christmas carols while there will be also dancing parades in the streets on both days of the activity.

St Matthew's Chapel, which is found just beside the Maqluba cavity, is going to be open to the general public, and every hour there will be a choir singing Christmas carols in the chapel.
