A Chinese commercial delegation will visit Malta in June, just weeks after the two countries hold talks on a new double taxation agreement, Foreign Minister Tonio Borg said today.

Dr Borg is currently in China where he today addressed some 70 business owners in Beijing. He spoke on the opportunities Malta offered for investment, including joint ventures.

The minister also had talks with Deputy Prime Minister Li Keqiang (picture).

Malta and China have agreed to hold talks in May on a new double taxation agreement.

Dr Borg is due to visit Shanghai where he will follow works on the Maltese stand for the World Expo.
