Restoration and embellishment works to renovate the Sts Lucija Chinese Garden of Serenity are being embarked upon.

The works were inaugurated by Finance Minister Edward Scicluna and the charge d'affaires of the Chinese Embassy Sun Jiliang.

Originally designed in October 1995 and constructed in 1997, the garden  represents an investment by the Chinese government of the equivalent of €4.24 million.
