Chiara got her red carpet moment tonight and she lapped it up posing for the paparazzi and stopping to give comments as she sashayed to the Euroclub for the Mayor's big bash.

She joined all the contestants of the Eurovision Song Contest for the big night, expertly working the media and singing a few notes of her song What If We to the foreign media.

"Every girl dreams of walking the red carpet," she enthused.

She is confidently ready to face the first hurdle on Tuesday and she has already set her sights on competing in Saturday's final. If British bookmaker William Hill's predictions are right, things are looking good for Malta - she is third favourite to make it through the final, behind Bosnia Herzegovina and Turkey.
