British Moto GP rider and former World Superbike Champion James Toseland arrives in Malta on Friday as a guest of Motul. There will be opportunities for local fans to meet him.

The Monster Yamaha Tech3 rider, who became the youngest ever World Superbike Champion in 2002 aged 23, will attend a formal dinner at the Radisson Golden Sands Resort, Golden Bay, on Saturday at 8 p.m.

The public can purchase tickets for the dinner for €60 from R and D Distributors by calling 2701 3003. Mr Toseland is an accomplished pianist and singer, and is expected to perform during the evening.

The following morning, Mr Toseland will sign a Yamaha R1 52 motorbike at Apple's Eye restaurant, Golden Bay.

He will then ride a Yamaha R1 2009 along the coast road followed by a police escort and hundreds of bikers, stopping at Luxol at approximately 11.30 a.m. R and D Distributors appointed Redorange to organise and co-ordinate the visit.
