Now that we have the local plans, shouldn't our enlightened MPs from both major political parties agree to decree that it is indeed unlawful and a criminal act on the part of any architect to apply for a permit of development in ODZ (outside development zones)? Until that day we can only say that local plans, auditors, Ombudsman and case officers are nothing but a smokescreen to justify Mepa's claim that it acts in a democratic and transparent manner.
If this decree does not take place, then I invite readers to smile and giggle with disdain whenever one of these political parties' politicians tell us that the environment is of such high priority. Or shall we all take their claims with a pinch of salt?
