Joe Caruana Curran is the new president of the Aquatic Sports Association after his nomination received the approval of club delegates and officials during the organisation’s annual general meeting yesterday.
Caruana Curran, the only candidate for the post, succeeds Austin Sammut who resigned last month.
Following Caruana Curran’s election as ASA president, the organisation will now seek to install a new secretary following the resignation of Remy D’Amato a few weeks ago.
The association is now receiving nominations for the post of secretary and an election is expected to be held in January.
