Collections initiated by Caritas Malta in aid of the earthquake victims and their families in Haiti have reached €181,000. This amount does not include collections made in parishes.

The collection is being made with the approval of Archbishop Paul Cremona and Gozo Bishop Mario Grech. They have appealed for people’s generosity to help those who are suffering as a result of the devastating earthquake in Haiti.

Donations may be passed on to Maltese and Gozitan parish priests or sent to Caritas Malta at 5, Triq l-Iljun, Floriana FRN 1514. Cheques should be made payable to ‘Caritas Malta Haiti Fund’.

Donations may also be deposited in APS account 20000887495, Bank of Valletta account 40018761294 or HSBC account 08902151305.
