A ‘dental spa’ aimed at attracting foreign dental patients was inaugurated this morning by Parliamentary Secretary Edward Zammit Lewis and blessed by Cardinal Prospero Grech.

The renovated Demajo Dental and Implantology Clinic in Ta'Xbiex is run by the fourth generation of the Demajo family involved in dentistry. It offers a range of cosmetic dentistry, implant surgery and tooth whitening procedures. The Dental spa was set up with the use of funding from the European Regional Development Fund and Microinvest.

Dr Zammit Lewis said the government backed initiatives such as this, aimed at attracting medical tourism
