A pothole at Triq is-Salina which caused a car to burst a tyre and overturn was finally filled this afternoon.

A reader who took this picture said the car was being driven from Naxxar towards Salina. The tyre burst in the pothole and the driver lost control. The car narrowly missed an oncoming truck and other cars.

An ambulance took the driver to hospital for treatment to minor injuries and shock.

The car was not being driven at excessive speed.
