A 30-year-old man was arrested after days of observation last night, when he was in possession of 10 blocks of a brown substance suspected to be cannabis resin.

He is expected to be arraigned tomorrow charged with aggravated possession of cannabis and breaching bail conditions.

The police said the man, an African, was arrested in Marsa by officers from the Rapid Intervention Unit.

They suspect that the blocks, which together weighed slightly more than a kilogram, were ready for trafficking.
