Police are still investigating some 250 reports filed against Fantasy Tours, with would-be holiday­makers claiming to have lost close to €375,000 in total, Times of Malta has learnt.

Sources close to the investigation said police were still looking into each report and they could not yet officially indicate whether they would be issuing any charges in connection with the case. A company director is out on police bail.

Times of Malta reported last week that Fantasy Tours’ licence to operate was renewed for three consecutive years even though the company had not paid the Malta Tourism Authority fees amounting to almost €4,000.
