Italian television channel Canale 5 will be screening four episodes of the second series of "Come un Delfino - La Serie", which were screened in Malta, the Malta Tourism Authority said.

Substantial parts of this series were filmed in Malta last year.

The Film Unit within the Marketing Directorate at MTA had established contact with the Italian Film Production Company 'San Marco Film Production' which is owned by Raoul Bova and his wife Chiara Giordano.  The production company has so far successfully produced the film 'Sbirri' and the TV series 'Come un Delfino'.

Last year, the internationally renowned Italian actor Raoul Bova was hosted in Malta by the MTA.  Raoul Bova had come over to scout and explore the locations for the second series.

Raoul Bova will be playing the leading role of Alessandro Dominici, a professional swimmer who had to stop training due to a hearing disease.  Leading cast members will include well-known Italian actors including Ricky Memphis, Maurizio Matiolo, Giulia Bevilacqua and Tony Sperandeo.

The filming was made possible through the financial assistance of the MTA and the support of Air Malta.  The production company also availed themselves of the attractive financial incentives offered by the Malta Film Commission.   The four episodes will be aired on Canale 5 on May 15, 22 and 29 and on June 5.
