The Cana Movement this morning presented a critical analysis of the legal and cultural implication of the Bill regulating in-vitro fertilisation.

The movement said that, in its analysis, it did not intend to enter into the Bill's ethical and moral issues as these had already been dealt with in a pastoral letter from the bishops.

The memo, Cana said, was not intended to be a comprehensive analysis but was an attempt to shed light on the Bill's implications.
