Memorials for the 32 shooting victims sit in front of Norris Hall on the Virginia Tech campus April 22, 2007 in Blacksburg, Virginia. Two years after the worst campus shooting in US history took the lives of 32 students and teachers, Virginia Tech University looks forward to reopening the building on Thursday, where the tragedy unfolded. "The complete reoccupation of Norris Hall will mark another important milestone on our road to recovery," said Ishwar Puri, head of the engineering science and mechanics department. "My colleagues and I will re-enter the building with humility in our hearts and resolve in our minds," he added, remembering the five professors and 25 students shot inside Norris Hall by 23-year-old South Korean Cho Seung-Hui.
