Mauro Camoranesi looks set to stay at Juventus next season despite Olympiacos' interest in the winger.

Camoranesi is under contract with the Serie A giants for another campaign but appeared to be on his way out of the Turin outfit earlier this summer.

"Mauro has a contract with Juventus until 2011 and will be present for pre-season training on Sunday," said Camoranesi's agent Sergio Fortunato to calciomercato.it.

"As I have said many times, it is the club and not me that has to find an alternative destination for the player.

"At this point there are none and he is not unhappy to stay at Juve.

"Mauro has proved after so many years with the Bianconeri that he deserves to wear this jersey and the new players are the ones that have to prove their worth."

Greek side Olympiacos have reportedly been keen to acquire the 33-year-old, who played for Italy at the World Cup last month.

"Olympiacos represents an interesting solution," said Fortunato. "But there is no official negotiation.

"Juventus told me they had met Olympiacos and that they gave them my contact details but no-one has called me.

"The negotiations were not broken by me because they never even started."
