The government is asking for suggestions on how to use the site of the former Café Premier in Valletta, after having bailed out private investors and buying back the lease for €4.2 million in 2013. The controversial agreement was criticised by the National Audit Office.

The government has set up a working group chaired by Ray Bondin to study possible uses for the place situated beneath the National Library. People can submit feedback at onlineconsultations@gov.mt until May 6.
