John Buttigieg took charge of his first training session as Malta coach yesterday. The former Birkirkara mentor has taken over from Czech coach Dusan Fitzel who stepped down for health reasons last week. Earlier yesterday, Buttigieg and assistant coach Carmel Busuttil addressed the national team players during a meeting at the MFA Technical Centre. Valletta's international players were absent after leaving Malta for a week-long training camp in Holland yesterday afternoon.
