Striker Andre Schembri and goalkeeper Justin Haber have been recalled to the national squad for the Euro 2012 Group F qualifier against Georgia on Friday.

Malta coach John Buttigieg confirmed today that the Ferencvaros duo are in his plans for the Georgia match as he included them in the provisional list of players for the qualifier.

Schembri, who last Sunday scored a hat trick in Ferencvaros’s 3-1 over Vasas, has been out of the national team for a year while Haber missed Malta’s opening Euro 2012 qualifiers against Israel and Latvia after suffering a hand injury.

Buttigieg said Schembri and Haber have been recalled after showing good form in the last few weeks.

Daniel Bogdonovich will not make the trip to Georgia as he is suspended after collecting two yellow cards in the defeat to Israel and Latvia.

The Maltese squad will fly out to Georgia on Monday.
