PN leader Simon Busuttil this morning had his first formal meeting with deputy leaders Mario de Marco and Beppe Fenech Adami, as well as other members of the PN leadership including outgoing general secretary Paul Borg Olivier and Karol Aquilina, president of the administrative council.

Dr Busuttil said a report on the party's defeat on March 9 is expected to be completed by the end of this month. Its conclusions will be published.

He said the PN's priorities included preparing for the European Parliament elections, with the party's target being to win three seats (out of six).

The election of the new general secretary will be made by the members of the party executive on June 5.
