A delegation led by President Eddie Fenech Adami and Foreign Minister Tonio Borg will leave tomorrow for an official visit to Ukraine until Thursday.

Among other events, the delegation will hold one-to-one business meetings at the Ukraine Chamber of Commerce. A business forum will be addressed by Dr Fenech Adami and the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko. The chairman of Malta Enterprise, Alan Camilleri, will chair the forum from the Malta side.

Mr Camilleri will deliver a presentation on Doing Business With Malta. Joseph Zammit Tabona, chairman of Finance Malta and Anthony Caruana from the Malta Tourism Authority will also give short presentations.

On Wednesday evening, a networking reception hosted by Mr Camilleri will be held for members of the European Business Association, members of the Ukraine Chamber of Commerce, InvestUkraine and other Ukrainian businesses.

On Thursday, one-to-one business meetings will continue and the delegation will return in the evening.

Maltese businesses represented in the delegation include the construction, information technology, food export, household appliances and the textile industry sectors.
