Finally, the City Gate bus terminus near the Tritons Fountain and outside City Gate is going to go. What I cannot understand is how it is that most European countries do not have any bus termini or bus stations outside or around their cities, except for boarding and alighting spots/shelters and the vehicles are never stationary in the vicinity.

Was this possibility ever considered and, if not, why? If it works everywhere else why not in Malta?
