Malta Public Transport said today that the bus service will operate normally this week, despite the Valletta summit on migration.

The service may suffer some delays along certain routes as roads are closed temporarily to allow the secure passage of dignitaries who will be participating in the summit.

The only disruption will be on Route 133 - the Valletta Circular Route.

Leaders from over 40 countries will be in Malta between Wednesday and Friday to attend the EU-Africa migration.

Meanwhile a spokesman for MCP car park in Floriana said the car park will be open for both members and non-members, in a reversal of what was stated last week.
