Malta Transport, the government company which took over the bus service from Arriva, is spending an average of €80,544 per week on spare parts, Transport Minister Joe Mizzi said in Parliament this evening.

He was replying to a parliamentary question by Nationalist MP Toni Bezzina.

The minister said the average number of buses out of order had dropped from 31.5 last year to 22 now.
