The GWU has complained to Arriva over the allocation of shifts for bus drivers and the fact that they have not been paid yet for extra work.

A meeting between the company and the union was held this afternoon and another is due tomorrow morning.

The union said that drivers and other employees had only received their basic pay and they were not paid for extra duties performed in the past two weeks.

Decisions are expected to be take at tomorrow's meeting about the shifts and the system for the payment of salaries.

The union will also hold an internal meeting in the afternoon to discuss the principal points which will be presented during talks for the first collective agreement with Arriva.
