A Bulebel factory which produces precision electronic equipment is extending its facilities in a €5 million investment which will create 20 new jobs.

Finance Minister Tonio Fenech toured the factory, ProMinent Fluids, today and said the investment was a further show of confidence in the Maltese economy and its workers.

ProMinent, which is headquartered in Germany, produces temperature measurement devices, parts for precision-dosing pumps and meters.It already employs 100 persons in Malta.

Mr Fenech said the governemnt was committed to further training Maltese workers so as to make such investment possible. He pointed out that other investment projects were recently also announced by Toly Products, Methode Electronics, Cardinal Health, SeaBank Hotel and Island Hotels Group.
