For the past year or two that I have been working in Qormi, in Industry Street to be precise, the local council has done nothing to solve the acute parking problem.
This is caused, in particular, by the broken-down cars of companies with offices in the area that occupy the white parking spaces.
These cars either do not have a current licence, or are without a number plate; others have broken windows and doors and some do not even classify as cars.
The council has been made aware of this situation in an area where many employees are finding it impossible to park at any time of day.
