A newly-wed having second thoughts about her marriage has been accused of pushing her husband to his death off a cliff in the US.

Cody Lee Johnson grabbed Jordan Graham's arm during an argument at Glacier national park in Montana, a week after their wedding. Annoyed, she shoved him off the cliff.

She was arrested after the body of Mr Johnson, 25, was found two months later in an area so steep and rugged that a helicopter had to be used to recover it.

Graham, 22, is charged with second-degree murder charge.

Mr Johnson's family and friends had called for an investigation after the body was recovered.

On the night he died, Graham told a friend that she meant to talk with himabout "having second thoughts about having been married," according to court papers.

She originally told police her husband sent her a text message the night of his death, saying he was going for a drive with a friend from out of town. Five days later, Graham admitted that she had lied.
