The fist fight broke in Georgia's Parliament after a member of the ruling Georgian Dream political bloc Soso Jachvliani, verbally insulted the opposition United National Movement party leader, Giorgi Baramidze, accusing him of crimes committed during their nine year rule.

Politicians from both sides exchanged blows and the session had to be interrupted by the Speaker Davit Usupashvili who called the behavior unacceptable.

The incident was sparked by Baramidze's request to adopt an official document expressing Georgia's support for pro-EU protesters in Ukraine.
