BPC International Ltd., one of Malta's leading marketing communications agencies, has placed first in an international creative media competition, in which companies from 18 countries participated.

The objective of the international competition, organised by Zenith Media in London, was to stimulate recommendations for creative uses of media for HSBC's Global Brand campaigns.

It was a double victory for BPC, as another one of its entries also placed as a "runner-up" in the same competition, together with entries from Hong Kong and Taiwan.

BPC winning proposals were prepared by Michel Rizzo, client services director, Alfred Mizzi, creative consultant and Kevin Galea, account executive.

"Contestants put in a tremendous efforts and we had some highly detailed submissions. Malta's entry was a very well thought through idea, perfectly marrying medium to message, as well as creating great opportunity for wider positive social associations for the client," commented the organisers.

BPC's managing director David Brockdorff said: "In today's often cluttered media environment, creative use of media is key to achieving effective brand differentiation. We are delighted with this success because this result demonstrates BPC's ability to deliver solutions that are truly world-class."

BPC, which employs 40 people, provides marketing communications services to HSBC Bank Malta plc and to some of Malta's major organisations.
