Bank of Valletta is to launch a limited offer term deposit account denominated in sterling. The offer starts on Thursday and closes on December 12 or earlier at the bank's discretion.

The three-year Sterling Term Deposit Account bears an interest rate of three per cent per annum which is paid annually. The minimum deposit amount is £5,000.

This account offers an opportunity to customers to deposit their funds in a capital guaranteed account. The account is a limited offer that starts on November 19.
