A woman who was beaten up in Paceville will be helping the police try to identify the bouncer who she claims assaulted her, after he somehow got away.

Michelle Sullivan, 45, from Swieqi, made an appeal on social media, a few hours after the incident, asking for help in tracking down “the cowards” who had attacked her in Triq Wilġa on Sunday at 2am.

Police sources said the minute they arrived on the scene, the bouncer “vanished”.

The police called that night at 9pm, after the story had appeared on timesofmalta.com.

“They asked me if I would go down to Paceville at 11pm to see if we could locate the security officer concerned. I found it very strange of the police to ask me to go down so late at night when I have to be at work in the morning,” she said.
