A Bosnian national who has been in Malta for two years without a valid permit will be repatriated immediately after pleading guilty forgery and to being in possession of a forged document.

Magistrate Ian Farrugia heard Stjepanovic Dimitrije, a 21-year-old unemployed, plead guilty to having been in Malta without a permit after police found that the stamps he had on his passport were fake.

Police Inspector Frankie Sammut prosecuted while lawyers Christopher Chircop was defence counsel.
