Bomb threats forced the evacuation of two Bank of Valletta branches this morning.

The threats were made against the branches in Marsa and Marsascala. The warningss were made in a telephone call to the head office.

Army explosives experts were called to both scenes.

A similar bomb threat on February 15 forced the evacuation of the head office in Fleur-de-Lys in what turned out to be a hoax.
