A suspicious package a man found on his porch on Friday evening was deemed safe after it was checked by the Bomb Disposal Unit.

The unit were sent to Triq Valentin, Balzan after the police were alerted by a man who noticed a 25cm long package 'wrapped in yellow tape' on his porch.

Roads were sealed off while the operation was underway.
