A seminar entitled ‘The Bologna Process: A National Bologna Expert Training Session’ is being held at the Dolmen Resort Hotel, Qawra, on December 14.

The aim of the seminar is to give an overview of the Bologna Process.

Starting from the Bologna Declaration in 1999, targets, principles and achievements will be outlined, with particular focus on the Leuven Communiqué and the 2020 targets.

The seminar is aimed at stakeholders in the education sector, particularly professionals involv-ed in higher education.

The seminar is being organised by the European Union Programmes Agency (EUPA) and the Bologna Experts group (Malta), in collaboration with the Malta Qualifications Council and the National Commission for Higher Education.

Those interested in attending the seminar are invited to register by sending an e-mail to bologna.eupa@gov.mt.

Booking is free but on a first-come-first-served basis.

The closing date for registration is noon on Tuesday.

The seminar is being funded with support from the European Commission, specifically the National Teams of Bologna Experts.
