A Peugeot 406 was extensively damaged by fire late yesterday in Gzira.

The blaze was reported at about 9.30 p.m. in Moroni Str, Gzira. Firemen of the Civil Protection Department were on the scene.

A magisterial inquiry is underway while investigators look into whether arson was involved.
