Without getting into the rights and wrongs of Brexit, it is interesting to hear reasoned arguments from both sides. However, I notice that the people who are against Brexit often do not have any reason in their argument whatsoever, just non-acceptance of the fact that Brexit will happen, with hysteria thrown in.
I have tried my best to ignore Michael Frank Owen’s anti-Brexit rants, but last Sunday’s effort (‘Deal with Russia firmly’, The Sunday Times of Malta, March 18) really takes the biscuit. Blaming Brexit for the Salisbury poisoning? Are you serious?
Mr Owen is a typical ‘Remoaner’ who cannot accept the largest democratic vote for anything in British history. He will blame the recent bad weather on Brexit next.
