Sheffield United will be returning to Malta this summer... and the club is hoping fans would join them here.

The team will be flying out on July 14 for a week-long training camp.

The Blades will play Sliema Wanderers on July 18 at the Ta Qali training ground, kicking off at 7.30 p.m., and Hibernians at Paola Stadium with another 7.30 p.m. kick-off on July 21.

The squad will be visiting local community groups and meeting supporters at an event arranged by the club.

"It is very important that the players prepare as well as possible for the new season and this week away will be invaluable," explained new boss, Danny Wilson.

New managing director Dave McCarthy said:

"We are delighted to be going back to Malta as we have always had really good experiences on each of our previous visits.

"I hope some of our fans will be able to visit the island and watch the lads train and play.

"The players will be working very hard under the guidance of Danny Wilson, Frank Barlow and the coaching team, but there will also be the chance to interact with fans during the week."
