A 34-year-old man was grievously injured after crashing his motorbike into a trailer at the Addolorata Cemetery parking lot.

The police said the incident happened on Thursday around 6.15am.

According to the police, the young man from Mosta lost control of his Yamaha motorbike and crashed into a trailer.

He was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where he was certified to be suffering grievous injuries.

Investigations are ongoing.
