A 47-year-old motorcyclist from San Ġwann was grievously injured on Friday evening in a traffic accident in Msida.

The police said the rider lost control of his Yamaha TDM850 and crashed into a wall. The accident happened in Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli at 10.15pm.

The victim was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
