Ilħna Godda is the name of a music festival that will be staged in Malta in April.

The festival was staged for the first time in 2005 and is being organised by The Art Work Studio, which was recently set up by Olive Productions, the producers of the recent Maltese language movie Mħuħ, to cater for those interested in working in TV and theatre-related arts.

The Art Work Studio is currently receiving submissions for the Ilħna Godda festival, which will be split into two categories: Category A for children aged 12-15 years and Category B for youths aged 16-25 years. All applications must be original compositions, and diversity in styles, musically as well as lyrically, is encouraged.

Singers and songwriters are invited to send for a copy of the festival regulations and an application form by sending an e-mail to oliveproductionsmalta@gmail.com or calling on 9940 8204.

Those interested in taking part in this festival should submit their songs by January 31, following which an eliminatory phase will be held to select the 12 finalists in each category. The final will be held on April 9.
