For the second year running, the Loyola Vileda School of Basketball attended a 10-day basketball camp in Italy under the guidance of technical director and coach Felix Schembri. This year Loyola took part in the Dino Meneghin camp which was held in Veneto, north of Italy.

The Loyola group consisted of 26 members and included players from the male and female junior teams. The camp was run by top coaches, who, apart from Dino Meneghin himself, included the popular Ottorino Flaborea (one of the most respected veteran players in European basketball) and Giulio Melilla, formerly of Varese and the Italian national team.

He coached in Serie A1 for several years. The junior players participating in the camp were also thrilled by the surprise motivation of having Italian national team player Marco Carraretto, of Biella, as special camp guest.

Last year, Loyola Vileda had gone through the same experience, again under the guidance of Schembri, when they attended the Carlton Myers Camp in Rimini.
