We are finally back to racing after the extra long break which followed the exciting three away grand prixs where we witnessed astonishing racing and different winners each time.

The Barcelona circuit, scene of the next race on May 13, is a shrine which I will hopefully be visiting for my eleventh time. This is a place which has always spelt excitment. A circuit which on paper appears to be easy, given the miles of testing each team conducts there, but which still throws up surprises on race day.

The battle will be extra fierce this year. Fernando Alonso, now with McLaren, will do his utmost to replicate last year's stunning experience in a Renault.

Felipe Massa in the Ferrari wants to catch up the top guys whilst Raikkonen in the other Ferrari would rather he was at the top alone.

And then there is Hamilton, also at the top but still lusting for a win. Gilles Villeneuve once said the driver finishing second is the first loser.

Well my bags are packed and ready for four thrilling days at Mont Melo so as to bring you the latest in F1 racing. Should anyone wish to join the group, a handfull of tickets are still available from Britannia Tours in Merchants Street, Valletta. Departure is very early Thursday morning and we commence our adventure with a pitlane stroll that afternoon.
