HSBC has just completed a major upgrade of its IT network.

The new system, operating at the bank's operations centre in Qormi and throughout the branch network, will help ensure better customer service and also give the bank faster and more efficient access to HSBC Group-wide resources, the bank said in a statement.

The system will provide the foundations on which new modules, relating to the launch of new products and services, can be built.
