Bank of Valletta has launched a new loyalty scheme that will reward customers who use its card and 24x7 services. The bank will pay customers cash for specific transactions:

¤ five cents per transaction for a maximum of two transactions a month for payment to third parties through internet and phone banking;

¤ 10 cents per transaction for payment of bills through internet and phone banking;

¤ five cents per transaction for requests for foreign drafts or bills payable through internet and phone banking;

¤ 10 cents per transaction for requests for swift transfers through internet and phone banking;

¤ five cents per transaction for a maximum of one deposit in every card a month on deposits into own BOV credit card accounts; and

¤ three cents per transaction for payments for goods and services at retail outlets made through EPOS terminals using BOV cards.

This scheme has been in effect since March 1 and will be valid on all transactions made until June 30.
