Banif Bank (Malta) plc has an authorised share capital of €50 million and an issued share capital of €25 million, not as stated in the interview with the bank's chief executive officer in The Times Business on Thursday. The company was incorporated in March 2007 as a fully owned subsidiary of Banif SGPS SA. However, as stated in the article, local investors have since come on board. Banif SGPS SA now has a 72 per cent stakeholding.
