Daniel Bajada (picture) enjoyed mixed fortunes as ASD Fiaccola gained their third successive win in the Italian Serie B1 league last weekend after beating Sardinia’s Libertas Sassari 5-2 in Bari. The Malta champion had a rather slow start against Luca Baraccini but was quick to recover and win the match 3-2. Bajada, however, lost his second tie when he went down 3-1 to Riccardo Lisci, the no.194 ranked Sassari player. Fiaccola stayed third in the standings.
