A Polish man was charged in court this morning following a European arrest warrant issued by Poland after he allegedly stole the equivalent of Lm1,800 (€4,192.87) in 1993.

Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona, after taking into consideration that he has since obtained Maltese citizenship, married, and had children in Malta, granted him bail against a deposit of €8,000 and a personal guarantee of €8,000.
